When you are bound in THE SPIRIT, you have no issue in facing what lies ahead!
Paul was such a man.
Luke recorded by The Holy Spirit in Acts chapter 20:
22 And see, now I go bound in THE SPIRIT to Jerusalem, not knowing the things that will happen to me there,
23 except that the Holy Spirit testifies in every city, saying that chains and tribulations await me.
The Holy Spirit warned Paul repeatedly of what chains and afflictions were prepared for him. How did Paul respond?
24 But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the Gospel of the grace of God.
25 “And indeed, now I know that you all, among whom I have gone preaching the Kingdom of God, will see my face no more.
26 Therefore I testify to you this day that I am innocent of the blood of all men.
In other Words, “If any of you should be lost, I will not be blamed, for my conscience is clean”.
Paul testified that he was blameless!
And he wrote by The Holy Spirit in 1st Thessalonians chapter 5:
23 Now, may the God of peace and harmony set you apart, making you completely Holy. And may your entire being—spirit, soul, and body—be kept completely flawless (blameless) in the appearing of our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One.
24 The One who calls you by name is trustworthy and will thoroughly complete his work in you.
The Blood of Jesus erased Paul’s past completely and that reality allowed Paul to call himself blameless. It is vital that we understand and reverence The Blood of Christ, especially during Holy Communion.
Paul followed the progression of being first driven, then led, and finally bound by THE SPIRIT. Paul was to the point saying that he was bound by THE SPIRIT and he had no choice but to proceed. His only choice was for GOD! K His only desire, his only ambition was the will of GOD.
Paul also wrote by wrote by The Holy Spirit in Ephesians chapter 3:
7 I have been made a messenger of this wonderful news by the gift of grace that works through me. Even though I am the least significant of all his Holy believers, this grace-gift was imparted when the manifestation of his power came upon me. Grace alone empowers me so that I can boldly preach this wonderful message to non-Jewish people, sharing with them the unfading, inexhaustible riches of Christ, which are beyond comprehension.
GOD’S grace, HIS enablement, was the source of Paul’s empowerment. Paul claimed nothing except the grace-gift that was imparted to him. He declared that he was the least of all the saints having become selfless in his calling.
Luke recorded by The Holy Spirit in Acts chapter 26:
19 “So you see, King Agrippa, I have not been disobedient to what was revealed to me from Heaven.
20 For it was in Damascus that I first declared the Truth. And then I went to Jerusalem and throughout our nation, and even to other nations, telling people everywhere that they must repent and turn to God and demonstrate it with a changed life.
Paul never lost the Heavenly Vision given to him by Christ Jesus. Each of us has been given a unique Heavenly assignment. We are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. Let each of us embrace the walk!
