Miracles: Part 2

Unbelief is not ignorance; it is the refusal to act on The Word!

This reality exposes the heart of the issue.  Believers in essence refuse to act on The Words of Jesus.  Their unbelief limits their expectation, and they are more concerned about their reputation than achieving results expected by Jesus.

Jesus spoke in Mark chapter 9:

23 Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”

And in Matthew chapter 19:

26 But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

And in Mark chapter 10:

27 But Jesus looked at them and said, “With men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible.”

And Mark chapter 14:

36 And He said, “Abba, Father, all things are possible for You. Take this cup away from Me; nevertheless, not what I will, but what You will.”

Whether healing the sick or raising the dead, with FATHER, all things are possible.  That Truth has not been modified or removed!  FATHER’S Divine Intent has not changed, nor has HIS Word been altered to fit our expectations due to unbelief.

Belief that miracles have passed away is not merely misunderstanding, it is the decision to stop acting on certain Scriptures while still affirming others.  It is selective faith disguised as theological maturity.

The New Testament never presents miracles as optional “add-ons” to the Gospel.  They were not promotional signs for apostles only.  They are manifestations of The Kingdom!

You can recite the Lord’s Prayer, but do you really believe those Words?  Are you really expecting FATHER’S Kingdom to come?  Is there any sickness in HIS Kingdom?  Are there any devils in HIS Kingdom?

Jesus spoke in Matthew chapter 12:

28 But if I cast out demons by the Spirit of God, surely the Kingdom of God has come upon you.

Jesus did not say that the Kingdom would come later.  He said it had arrived.

When Jesus sent out the twelve disciples, He said in Matthew chapter 10:

7 And as you go, preach, saying, ‘The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.’

8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.

Have His expectations changed?  I think not!

Miracles are not interruptions of natural law.  They are expressions of a higher law!

Jesus intends for us to live by the power of The Holy Spirit.  Paul expressed this expectation as he recorded by The Holy Spirit in Romans chapter 8:

1 So now the case is closed. There remains no accusing voice of condemnation against those who are joined in Life-union with Jesus, the Anointed One.

2 For the “law” of the Spirit of life flowing through the anointing of Jesus has liberated us from the “law” of sin and death.

We are now able to operate in the higher law of THE SPIRIT rather than the lower, natural law of sin, sickness, and death.

3 For God achieved what the law was unable to accomplish, because the law was limited by the weakness of human nature. Yet God sent us His Son in human form to identify with human weakness. Clothed with humanity, God’s Son gave His Body to be the sin-offering so that God could once and for all condemn the guilt and power of sin.

The Blood of Jesus has enabled us to walk in this higher Law.  It is vital that when we take Holy Communion, we understand the importance of the Blood Covenant that allows us to operate in the higher law.

4 So now every righteous requirement of the law can be fulfilled through the Anointed One living His Life in us. And we are free to live, not according to our flesh, but by the dynamic power of the Holy Spirit!

We have been set free from the lower, natural law yet many are still sitting in the jail cell even though the door is not only unlocked but is open.

5 Those who are motivated by the flesh only pursue what benefits themselves. But those who live by the impulses of the Holy Spirit are motivated to pursue Spiritual realities.

6 For the sense and reason of the flesh is death, but the mind-set controlled by the Spirit finds Life and peace.

7 In fact, the mind-set focused on the flesh fights God’s plan and refuses to submit to his direction, because it cannot!

Are we fighting GOD’S plan by not expecting miracles?

8 For no matter how hard they try, God finds no pleasure with those who are controlled by the flesh.

9 But when the Spirit of Christ empowers your life, you are not dominated by the flesh but by the Spirit. And if you are not joined to the Spirit of the Anointed One, you are not of Him.

Miracles are not meant to be an optional part of your life!
