Being In Spiritual Alignment

Submission to GOD is Spiritual alignment far above all principality, power, might, and dominion!

James wrote in his Epistle, James chapter 4:

7 Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.

8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you…

And Wisdom recorded in Proverbs chapter 3:

5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; 6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.

7 Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the LORD and depart from evil.

8 It will be health to your flesh, And strength to your bones.

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Ephesians chapter 2:

6 He raised us up with Christ the exalted One, and we ascended with Him into the glorious perfection and authority of the Heavenly realm, for we are now co-seated as One with Christ!

Many Christians struggle to resist the devil; however it’s not due to the devil’s strength but a lack of understanding about how resistance works. The core message is that resisting the devil is not an emotional struggle or spiritual exhaustion, but “identity in action”. It’s about believers standing in the authority Christ has already established.

The nature of resistance: Resistance is not striving or fighting, but rather about taking a position of authority in Christ. It’s most effective when a believer stands strong in the consciousness of who they are in Christ, being seated with Christ in heavenly places.

The enemy’s strategy: The devil’s primary tactic is confusion and identity distortion, aiming to weaken a believer’s resistance and magnify their struggle. He pressures emotions to draw believers into emotional combat rather than Spiritual authority.

Authority in Christ: Resisting the devil involves enforcing what scripture already declares, based on Christ’s victory on the cross. The devil has been disarmed and has no legal weapons left. He operates through suggestion, influence, and whispers, requiring the believer’s agreement, fear, or attention.

The role of submission: Resistance is impossible without first submitting to God. Submission is Spiritual alignment, anchoring resistance in identity rather than fear. It involves choosing God’s Truth, Word, and authority over personal feelings, thoughts, and impulses.

Believer’s responsibility: Scripture commands believers to resist the devil; God will not do what He has authorized them to do. Authority, if not used, is forfeited, ignored, or wasted.

The power of the tongue: Resistance is a spoken action. Silence under pressure is agreement, while voice under pressure is resistance. The enemy also tries to make believers confess weakness or defeat.

Identity as foundation: Identity is the foundation of all resistance. The devil flees not because of a believer’s fight, but because they stand in the finished work of Christ.

Resistance as standing: Resistance is not wrestling but standing in authority. Standing is stability, refusal, and Spiritual immovability. The devil only has power where the believer’s stance is unstable.

Reclaiming territory: When believers resist, they are not just blocking the enemy but advancing the Kingdom and reclaiming territory.

Avoiding “waiting” instead of resisting: Many Christians confuse resistance with waiting for God to remove pressure or fight battles, but God commands action, not waiting, where authority has been given.

Resisting the devil is about alignment with God. Submission invites Heaven, and resistance repels hell, making a believer unstoppable when both are practiced.
