Focus On The Unseen

Repentance is a way of Life!

Repentance is engaging with the Mind of Christ; it’s embracing His thoughts, His values, His perception, and learning how to walk in that frame of mind.  It is that frame of mind that positions me to obey with great victory and great impact.

Our lives are no more transformed than is our mind renewed.

The measuring rod of personal transformation is the transformation of the mind.

Many churches have relegated their Sunday morning message to a 30-minute message designed to deliver only the milk of The Word… the pastors have become milkmen

It is written by The Holy Spirit in Hebrews chapter 5:

12 For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the first principles of the oracles of God; and you have come to need milk and not solid food.

13 For everyone who partakes only of milk is unskilled in the Word of righteousness, for he is a babe.

14 But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

What was Jesus’ mindset in teaching The Word?

Matthew recorded by The Holy Spirit in Matthew chapter 15:

32 Jesus called His disciples to Himself and said, “I care deeply about all these people, for they’ve already been with Me for three days without food. I don’t want to send them away fasting or else they may be overcome by weakness on their journey home.”

That is what I call a camp meeting!

Repentance introduces you to the Mind of Christ.  Repentance places you in the flow of His thinking, His perceptions.  His value system is completely different than ours.  This is why we must focus on being transformed to His way of thinking by the renewing of our minds by both reading The Word and hearing FATHER speak so that we can see from His perspective.

Every miracle introduces us to the reality of an unseen world.

It is written by The Holy Spirit in Hebrews chapter 11:

1 Now faith brings our hopes into reality and becomes the foundation needed to acquire the things we long for. It is all the evidence required to prove what is still unseen.

And Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in 2nd Corinthians chapter 4:

16 Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day.

17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory,

18 while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are Eternal.

Until the unseen world is more real than the temporary, seen world in your mindset, you will limit your spiritual maturity.  We need to be more spiritually mature than a donkey.

Moses recorded by THE SPIRIT in Numbers chapter 22:

22 Then God’s anger was aroused because he went, and the Angel of the LORD took His stand in the way as an adversary against him. And he was riding on his donkey, and his two servants were with him.

23 Now the donkey saw the Angel of the LORD standing in the way with His drawn sword in His hand, and the donkey turned aside out of the way and went into the field. So Balaam struck the donkey to turn her back onto the road.

25 And when the donkey saw the Angel of the LORD, she pushed herself against the wall and crushed Balaam’s foot against the wall; so he struck her again.

27 And when the donkey saw the Angel of the LORD, she lay down under Balaam; so Balaam’s anger was aroused, and he struck the donkey with his staff.

When is the last time you had a conversation with an Ass (KJV)?

28 Then the LORD opened the mouth of the donkey, and she said to Balaam, “What have I done to you, that you have struck me these three times?”

29 And Balaam said to the donkey, “Because you have abused me. I wish there were a sword in my hand, for now I would kill you!”

30 So the donkey said to Balaam, “Am I not your donkey on which you have ridden, ever since I became yours, to this day? Was I ever disposed to do this to you?” And he said, “No.”

31 Then the LORD opened Balaam’s eyes, and he saw the Angel of the LORD standing in the way with His drawn sword in His hand; and he bowed his head and fell flat on his face.

34 And Balaam said to the Angel of the LORD, “I have sinned, for I did not know You stood in the way against me. Now therefore, if it displeases You, I will turn back.”

35 Then the Angel of the LORD said to Balaam, “Go with the men, but only the Word that I speak to you, that you shall speak.” So Balaam went with the princes of Balak.

There is a lesson to be learned!
