Correcting Our Lifestyle

Our lifestyle is fueled by thought life!

A stronghold is a hiding place for the demonic and is created in a person’s life through their thoughts.  What does your lifestyle reflect to others?

To once again emphasize, what Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in 2nd Corinthians chapter 10:

4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds,

5 casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the True knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,

We are to take every thought to the obedience of Christ.  What does this mean?  A thought pattern is not transformed until I see a situation through the Eyes of Jesus, thinking the redemptive solutions He is thinking.  Until then, I am still in that place of need of pulling down strongholds in my mind, the place of bringing forth change in my life.

Smith Wigglesworth wrote the following in the back of his Bible:

“Never compare this Book with other books. Comparisons are dangerous. Never think or say that this book contains the Word of God. IT IS the Word of God. It is supernatural in origin, Eternal in duration, inexpressible in value. Infinite in scope, regenerative in power, infallible in authority, universal in interest, personal in application, inspired in totality. Read it through. Write it down. Pray it in. Work it out. And pass it on. It IS the Word of GOD.”

You can see how and why his ministry impacted the multitudes.  He placed the Word of GOD above all.

How simple is the Word of God!  It’s not complicated, if HE said it, it’s True.  If He didn’t, it probably isn’t.

If I have more input from social media than I do the Word of GOD, my discouragement is self-inflicted.  We must not allow ourselves to build or perpetuate a lie in our mindset.  It will become a stronghold of the demonic.

THE LORD is preparing us to address the impossible.  HE is enabling us to be aware of where we have fallen for the lie, where we have entertained the enemy’s ideas.

The peace of GOD is the complete absence of chaos.

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Philippians chapter 4:

4 Be cheerful with joyous celebration in every season of life. Let your joy overflow!

5 And let gentleness be seen in every relationship, for our Lord is ever near.

6 Don’t be pulled in different directions or worried about a thing. Be saturated in prayer throughout each day, offering your faith-filled requests before God with overflowing gratitude. Tell HIM every detail of your life,

7 then God’s wonderful peace that transcends human understanding, will guard your heart and mind through Jesus Christ.

8 Keep your thoughts continually fixed on all that is authentic and real, honorable and admirable, beautiful and respectful, pure and Holy, merciful and kind. And fasten your thoughts on every glorious work of God, praising Him always.

If you are immersed in chaos, then check where your focus lies.  The adversary will use chaos to keep your attention away from the peace of GOD.  If allowed, he will create a stronghold to enslave you, to perpetuate chaos on a consistent basis.  Social media has become such a tool if not managed properly.  Don’t allow media to draw you into anything that tickles your carnal mind.

We must bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ!  Your eyes are meant to protect you, not entice you.  When we take thoughts captive, our mind is transformed in nature to reflect the Mind of Christ where nothing is impossible, there is a redemptive solution for every situation.  As a result, HE will make every situation that pertains to my life, to work for good.

Paul affirms this as he wrote by The Holy Spirit in Romans chapter 8:

27 Now He Who searches the hearts knows what the Mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who Love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

29 For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the Image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.

30 Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.

To be fully conformed to the Image of Christ, our thought life must conform to His Thought Life… the Mind of Christ.  We will then reflect the Mind of Christ in our lifestyle.
