Eternity is the cornerstone of logic and reason!
Some things only make sense in the light of eternity. This is why those who are worldly in their thought patterns do not understand the Life-giving Words in Scripture. To be carnally minded is death.
Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Romans chapter 8:
6 For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is Life and peace.
7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be.
8 So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.
In other Words, the mind-set focused on the flesh fights God’s plan and refuses to submit to His direction, because it cannot! For no matter how hard they try, God finds no pleasure with those who are controlled by the flesh. But when the Spirit of Christ empowers your life, you are not dominated by the flesh but by the Spirit. And if you are not joined to the Spirit of the Anointed One, you are not of Him and you will not have the Mind of Christ operating in your life.
Moses prayed by The Holy Spirit in Psalm chapter 90:
12 Help us to remember that our days are numbered, and help us to interpret our lives correctly. Set Your Wisdom deeply in our hearts so that we may accept Your correction.
Gaining Wisdom from Above should be our highest priority! This can only be achieved by being transformed and renewing our mind and walking in the Mind of Christ.
We are taught to have the right answer, and we can point to the Scripture that supports that answer. However, this does not mean that we have the Mind of Christ. Memorizing the Bible does not mean you will have a renewed mind. When you have the Mind of Christ, you will walk in Wisdom, understanding, knowledge, and the appropriate skill to address all things.
When the mind is renewed, the impossible looks logical. An example of this is found in the feeding of the multitudes.
The Beloved Disciple wrote by The Holy Spirit in John chapter 6:
4 Now the Passover, a feast of the Jews, was near.
5 Then Jesus lifted up His Eyes, and seeing a great multitude coming toward Him, He said to Philip, “Where shall we buy bread, that these may eat?”
6 But this Jesus said to test him, for He Himself knew what He would do.
7 Philip answered Him, “Two hundred denarii worth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may have a little.”
8 One of His disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, said to Him,
9 “There is a lad here who has five barley loaves and two small fish, but what are they among so many?”
10 Then Jesus said, “Make the people sit down.” Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand.
11 And Jesus took the loaves, and when He had given thanks He distributed them to the disciples, and the disciples to those sitting down; and likewise of the fish, as much as they wanted.
12 So when they were filled, He said to His disciples, “Gather up the fragments that remain, so that nothing is lost.”
13 Therefore they gathered them up, and filled twelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley loaves which were left over by those who had eaten.
14 Then those men, when they had seen the sign that Jesus did, said, “This is truly the Prophet who is to come into the world.”
The logic of Heaven is abundance whereas the logic of the world is scarcity. The renewed mind creates the environment for real faith to be activated. An unrenewed mind is where unbelief resides. It does note embrace or understand Heaven’s resources.
Jesus explained the Truth of the lack of fully embracing The Word when He spoke in Matthew chapter 13:
18 “Now you are ready to hear the explanation of the parable of the sower:
19 “What was sown along the path represents the one who listens to the message of the Kingdom but doesn’t understand it. The Adversary then comes and snatches away what was sown into his heart.
20 “The one sown on gravel represents the person who gladly hears the Kingdom message, but his experience remains shallow.
21 Shortly after he hears it, troubles and persecutions come because of the Kingdom message he received. Then he quickly falls away, for the Truth didn’t sink deeply into his heart.
22 “The one sown among thorns represents one who receives the message, but all of life’s busy distractions, his divided heart, and his ambition for wealth result in suffocating the Kingdom message and it becomes fruitless.
23 “But what was sown on good, rich soil represents the one who hears and fully embraces the message of the Kingdom. Their lives bear good fruit—some yield a harvest of thirty, sixty, even one hundred times as much as was sown.”
Great faith comes from surrender to The Word, not striving. When I surrender and yield to The Word, I accept and embrace It to guide my life. Our mind is meant to be trained by faith and by experiences and activity of THE LORD in our life. The activities of GOD are to reveal HIS ways and HIS Divine Intent! HIS Ways reveal Heaven’s logic and reason.
