We are called to administer the Will of GOD on the earth!
This is done through prayer, praise, and action.
It is recorded by The Holy Spirit in Psalm chapter 2:
6 (FATHER speaks) “Yet I have set My King On My Holy hill of Zion.”
The Son responds:
7 “I will reveal the Eternal purpose of God. For HE has decreed over Me, ‘You are My favored Son. And as Your Father I have crowned You as My King Eternal. Today I became Your Father.
8 Ask Me to give YOU the nations and I will do it, and they shall become Your legacy. YOUR domain will stretch to the ends of the earth.
9 And YOU will shepherd them with unlimited authority, crushing their rebellion as an iron rod smashes jars of clay!’ ”
You and I have been given power and authority to administer justice on behalf of Our Lord Jesus Christ. We are to bring forth Heaven to the ends of the earth. Because of His death and resurrection, the earth has become His legally entitled inheritance. We are fully authorized to administer this entitlement!
And in Psalm chapter 149:
5 Let (all) the saints be joyful in glory; Let them sing aloud on their beds.
6 Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, And a two-edged sword in their hand,
7 To execute vengeance on the nations, And punishments on the peoples;
8 To bind their kings with chains, And their nobles with fetters of iron;
9 To execute on them the written judgment– This honor have all His saints. Praise the LORD!
Notice that the saints execute, administer, apply the Word of GOD on the nations. When the glory comes down, the people get joyful. Praise, prayers, and the two-edged sword are three instruments to be used.
It is also written by The Holy Spirit in Hebrews chapter 4:
12 For we have the living Word of God, which is full of energy, like a two-edged sword. It will even penetrate to the very core of our being where soul and spirit, bone and marrow meet! It interprets and reveals the true thoughts and secret motives of our hearts.
13 There is not one person who can hide their thoughts from God, for nothing that we do remains a secret, and nothing created is concealed, but everything is exposed and defenseless before his eyes, to whom we must render an account.
Jesus paved the way for us to be able to administer justice, judgement, and restoration to the world.
Jesus spoke in John chapter 12:
27 “Now My soul is troubled, and what shall I say? ‘Father, save Me from this hour’? But for this purpose I came to this hour.
28 Father, glorify Your Name.” Then a Voice came from Heaven, saying, “I have both glorified It and will glorify It again.”
29 Therefore the people who stood by and heard it said that it had thundered. Others said, “An angel has spoken to Him.”
30 Jesus answered and said, “This Voice did not come because of Me, but for your sake.
31 Now is the judgment of this world; now the ruler (prince) of this world will be cast out.
32 And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all peoples to Myself.”
33 This He said, signifying by what death He would die.
By necessity, Jesus died and was resurrected so that we would be empowered with His authority to fulfill His Commands and apply the victory! We are to storm the gates of hell.
