Every promise in the Bible is for me and intended to meet my need in every situation I encounter!
The Old Testament is the New Testament concealed; The New Testament is the Old Testament revealed.
Moses recorded by The Holy Spirit in Numbers chapter 23:
19 “God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?
And in Malachi chapter 3:
6 “For I am the LORD, I do not change; Therefore you are not consumed, O sons of Jacob.
THE LORD does not change, nor does HIS Word become of none effect. The nation of Israel has always been a separate people in HIS Eyes. There are those who teach a replacement theology that the twelve tribes of Israel have been replaced by believers and are no longer qualified as Jews. You only need to look at history to see that FATHER did not make a mistake in who HE selected as a special people. You and I have been grafted in as Sons of GOD.
Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in 2nd Corinthians chapter 1:
18 But as God is faithful, our word to you was not Yes and No.
19 For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, Who was preached among you by us-by me, Silvanus, and Timothy-was not Yes and No, but in Him was Yes.
20 For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.
It is written by The Holy Spirit in Hebrews chapter 13:
8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
9 Do not be carried about with various and strange doctrines. For it is good that the heart be established by grace, not with foods which have not profited those who have been occupied with them.
There is no variance in Jesus Christ. The only variables are with you and me. All of the blessings of the Bible are Yes and Amen! Tithing is an excellent example. It began with Abraham before the Law was given and the promise contained within continues to this very day.
If My People will do four things, in response, I will do three.
It is written by The Holy Spirit in 2nd Chronicles chapter 7:
14 if My people who are called by My Name will humble themselves (1), and pray (2) and seek My Face (3), and turn from their wicked ways (4), then I will hear from Heaven (1), and will forgive their sin (2) and heal their land (3).
This is an unconditional promise from FATHER for those who will respond to those conditions expressed in this passage. If the land of GOD’S people is not healed, what is the reason? The problem is with the people, not Our Heavenly Father! Has GOD ever failed to do what HE promised, or has GOD’S people failed to meet HIS conditions?
You must humble yourself, no one else can make you humble. We are to pray and seek HIS Face until we get into the Presence of GOD. We must remove all wickedness impacting us. For some, it is not what you do, but what you don’t do.
James wrote by The Holy Spirit in James chapter 4:
17 Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin.
In other words, you know of an opportunity to do the right thing today, yet you refrain from doing it, you’re guilty of sin.
When we are fully led by The Holy Spirit, we will respond immediately to the situation and do good.
Jesus spoke of three groups in Matthew chapter 25, who did nothing: the foolish virgins, the unfaithful stewards, and the goat nations:
Matthew 25:
11 “Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open to us!’
12 But he answered and said, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you.‘
29 ‘For to everyone who has, more will be given, and he will have abundance; but from him who does not have, even what he has will be taken away.
30 And cast the unprofitable servant into the outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’
41 “Then He will also say to those on the left hand, ‘Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels:
42 for I was hungry and you gave Me no food; I was thirsty and you gave Me no drink;
43 I was a stranger and you did not take Me in, naked and you did not clothe Me, sick and in prison and you did not visit Me.’
44 “Then they also will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You?’ 45 Then He will answer them, saying, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.’
These three groups did nothing! If our land is not healed, the fault lies with the ekklesia for it did nothing.
