As we walk in Holiness, our light will expose rebellion of those living in darkness!
The ruler of this world promotes rebellion against THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY. That rebellion is described in the fall of Lucifer.
It is written by THE SPIRIT in Isaiah chapter 14:
12 “How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground, You who weakened the nations!
13 For you have said in your heart: ‘I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation On the farthest sides of the north; [14] I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High.’
15 Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol, To the lowest depths of the Pit.
These verses contain the five “I will’s” of rebellion against GOD. In addition, take note of Lucifer being cut down to the ground. John the Baptist speaks of this in preparing for the ministry of Jesus Christ.
Matthew recorded by The Holy Spirit in Matthew chapter 3:
7 But when he (John) saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming to his baptism, he said to them, “Brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the wrath to come?
8 Therefore bear fruits worthy of repentance,
9 and do not think to say to yourselves, ‘We have Abraham as our father.’ For I say to you that God is able to raise up children to Abraham from these stones.
10 And even now the ax is laid to the root of the trees. Therefore every tree which does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.
11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, Whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.
12 His winnowing fan is in His Hand, and He will thoroughly clean out His threshing floor, and gather His wheat into the barn; but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.”
The only way to be assured that a tree does not survive is to cut it down by the root and totally remove it, so it won’t spring up again and take nourishment away from productive trees.
To separate wheat from the chaff, a winnowing fork is used to throw the wheat in the air so the wind will separate the wheat from the chaff. This refers to the work of The Holy Spirit. The chaff is burned up by Holy Fire.
The prince of the unseen realm is dominating and controlling all the children of rebellion. He stokes their pride to make them believe in the same manner of the five “I will’s”. They view themselves as self-made and take credit for every area of temporary success. They will lie, cheat, and steal in order to achieve their goals. They will intimidate those who are weak to gain success. These are the children of rebellion and disobedience.
Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in 2nd Thessalonians chapter 2:
3 Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition,
4 who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.
5 Do you not remember that when I was still with you I told you these things?
6 And now you know what is restraining, that he may be revealed in his own time. 7 For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way.
This refers to the removal of The Holy Spirit Who has restrained the lawlessness already at work. Those five wise virgins are taken away who kept their lanterns full of The Holy Spirit.
8 And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the Breath of His Mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming.
9 The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders,
10 and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the Love of the Truth, that they might be saved.
11 And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie,
12 that they all may be condemned who did not believe the Truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
This is an ominous warning to be heeded in these final days of the last days. We are to walk in Holiness, arise and shine, so that repentance will come forth to those who are willing to change from their wicked ways. The time is short!
