Pursuing Holiness- Part 79

As we walk in Holiness, our deepest desire will be to seek HIM early!

FATHER has provided each of us with the blueprint to walk in HIS Glory along with its benefits.  To walk out HIS blueprint, we must seek the Divine at the center of our pursuits, asking for direction each morning.

It is recorded by THE SPIRIT in Lamentations chapter 3:

21 This I recall to my mind, Therefore I have hope.

22 Through the LORD’s mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not.

23 They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness.

24 “The LORD is my portion,” says my soul, “Therefore I hope in Him!”

25 The LORD is good to those who wait for Him, To the soul who seeks Him.

26 It is good that one should hope and wait quietly For the salvation of the LORD.

David wrote by THE SPIRIT in Psalm chapter 63:

1 O God, You are my God; Early will I seek You; My soul thirsts for You; My flesh longs for You In a dry and thirsty land Where there is no water.

2 So I have looked for You in the sanctuary, To see Your power and Your glory.

And it is recorded by THE SPIRIT in Isaiah chapter 26:

9 With my soul I have desired You in the night, Yes, by my spirit within me I will seek You early; For when Your judgments are in the earth, The inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.

We can’t go back in history and start over, but we can start now and make a new ending.  Both David and Isaiah understood the need to seek FATHER early each day.

Paul could not go back in history and reverse his past.  However, he understood the reality of starting anew as he wrote by The Holy Spirit in Philippians chapter 4:

11 Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content:

12 I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.

13 I can do all things through Christ Who strengthens me.

Let us be open to transformation and embrace any path FATHER places us on, no matter what our age or past failures.  We are to submit to The Word of THE LORD and by guided by The Holy Spirit in all things.  Our journey is not guided by what we know but is determined by the best way conveyed to us by FATHER.  We have the Supreme Guide and HIS Heavenly guidance awaits us as we seek HIM early each day.

Following FATHER’S directions will save us from unnecessary conflicts and hasty choices that result in needless failures.  Sometimes, doing nothing and simply waiting for the LORD’S instructions will save us from heartache and regret.

Each situation we encounter is unique so we must not rely on past successes.  This is why should seek FATHER’S guidance.

David was a man after GOD’S Own Heart.  He was an experienced warrior with past victories.  However, he assumed nothing.

It is written by THE SPIRIT in 1st Samuel chapter 23:

1 Then they told David, saying, “Look, the Philistines are fighting against Keilah, and they are robbing the threshing floors.”

2 Therefore David inquired of the LORD, saying, “Shall I go and attack these Philistines?” And the LORD said to David, “Go and attack the Philistines, and save Keilah.”

3 But David’s men said to him, “Look, we are afraid here in Judah. How much more then if we go to Keilah against the armies of the Philistines?”

4 Then David inquired of the LORD once again. And the LORD answered him and said, “Arise, go down to Keilah. For I will deliver the Philistines into your hand.” 5 And David and his men went to Keilah and fought with the Philistines, struck them with a mighty blow, and took away their livestock. So David saved the inhabitants of Keilah.

As we walk in Holiness, we will inquire of THE LORD and HE will answer us.  If we are entering into spiritual warfare, HE will lead us to victory over the enemy.  However, assume nothing concerning past victories and seek HIS guidance daily.
