Walking In “Son-Consciousness”

Be Son-conscious through Communion!

It is written by THE SPIRIT in 1st Corinthians chapter 11:

26  Whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you are retelling the story, proclaiming our Lord’s death until He comes.

27 For this reason, whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in the wrong spirit will be guilty of dishonoring the Body and Blood of the Lord.

28 So let each individual first evaluate his own attitude and only then eat the bread and drink the cup.

29 For continually eating and drinking with a wrong spirit will bring judgment upon yourself by not recognizing the body.

30 This insensitivity is why many of you are weak, chronically ill, and some even dying.

In other Words:  So whoever does not value the meaning of the bread and the wine, keeps himself in condemnation.  To see oneself associated in Christ’s death and declared innocent in His Blood is the only worthy manner in which to examine one’s own life in the context of the New Covenant meal.

I cannot overemphasize the importance of taking Communion frequently.  To be restored to Divine health, I am convinced that FATHER wants us to properly take communion which reflects the New Covenant.  If we take Communion in the wrong manner, we effectively accept judgments.

How did the Israelites walk in Divine health for forty years?  They feasted on Jesus Who is the Bread of Life.  How were Joshua and Caleb able to possess the Promised Land when they were between 59 and 79 years old?  How was Joshua able to rule for an estimated 52 years which made him 111 years old when he died?  They had been feasting in Divine health for 40 years in the wilderness.

Food and exercise are not the keys to a healthy life although they do have some benefits.  The key to a healthy life is to be led by The Holy Spirit in everything you do and consume, especially having the proper mindset at Communion.

As a side note, the majority on the people Jesus healed were on the “Mediterranean” diet!

We can’t put our trust in natural means to stay healthy.  Our trust must be in GOD to keep us healthy and properly taking Communion is central to that.  This keeps us focused on the Supernatural realm.

To reemphasize from an earlier writing, Luke recorded by The Holy Spirit in Acts chapter 2:

46  Daily they met together in the temple courts and in one another’s homes to celebrate communion. They shared meals together with joyful hearts and tender humility.

What was the result?

47 They were continually filled with praises to God, enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord kept adding to their number daily those who were coming to life.

To properly discern The Body, we are to remain Son-conscious, not sin-conscious.

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Romans chapter 3:

20  For no one can ever be made right with God by doing what the law commands. The law simply shows us how sinful we are.

21 But now God has shown us a way to be made right with Him without keeping the requirements of the law, as was promised in the writings of Moses and the prophets long ago.

22 We are made right with God by placing our faith in Jesus Christ. And this is true for everyone who believes, no matter who we are.

23 For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard.

24 Yet God, in His grace, freely makes us right in His sight. He did this through Christ Jesus when He freed us from the penalty for our sins.

25 For God presented Jesus as the sacrifice for sin. People are made right with God when they believe that Jesus sacrificed His life, shedding His blood. This sacrifice shows that God was being fair when He held back and did not punish those who sinned in times past,

Are we putting faith in the cross of Jesus?  That is the intent in the examination of yourself?  Alternatively, are you putting faith in doctors, pharmaceuticals, diets, and/or exercise?

When man sinned, Divine judgment was placed upon mankind; weakness, sin, and death were some of the effects of it.  If we do not properly recognize His Body and His Blood, it is as though the judgment is still on us because we are not partaking of the benefits of the Sacred Communion.

Let us take hold of what Jesus paid for us and walk daily in Son-consciousness!
