Take Heed

Take heed and focus on your full sanctification process in ALL areas!

Jesus spoke in Luke chapter 8:

16  “No one, when he has lit a lamp, covers it with a vessel or puts it under a bed, but sets it on a lampstand, that those who enter may see the light.

17 For nothing is secret that will not be revealed, nor anything hidden that will not be known and come to light.

18 Therefore take heed how you hear. For whoever has, to him more will be given; and whoever does not have, even what he seems to have will be taken from him.”

Jesus had just explained the parable of the heart (aka: Sower).   We should pay careful attention to our hearts as we study His teachings, for to those who have open hearts, even more revelation will be given to them until it overflows. And for those who do not closely study His Words with open hearts, what little light they imagine themselves to have will be taken away.

Who is the greatest servant in the world?  Our Heavenly Father is in that HE made full provision for us in all the vital areas of our lives.  HE is Our Provider!

The Beloved Disciple recorded by The Holy Spirit in John chapter 13:

2  And supper being ended, the devil having already put it into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon’s son, to betray Him,

3 Jesus, knowing that the Father had given all things into His hands, and that He had come from God and was going to God,

4 rose from supper and laid aside His garments, took a towel and girded Himself. 5 After that, He poured water into a basin and began to wash the disciples’ feet, and to wipe them with the towel with which He was girded.

6 Then He came to Simon Peter. And Peter said to Him, “Lord, are You washing my feet?”

7]Jesus answered and said to him, “What I am doing you do not understand now, but you will know after this.”

13 You call Me Teacher and Lord, and you say well, for so I am.

14 If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet.

15 For I have given you an example, that you should do as I have done to you.

16 Most assuredly, I say to you, a servant is not greater than his master; nor is he who is sent greater than he who sent him.

17 If you know these things, blessed are you if you do them.

If The Son of GOD is willing to serve His Disciples AND us, shouldn’t we be willing to serve all as well?  He was selfless and gave us this vital example to live by.

Also, the Beloved Disciple wrote in 1st John chapter 3:

1  Behold what manner of Love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him.

2 Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.

3 And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.

Let us focus on our purification in soul and body, just as our spirit is pure.

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Ephesians chapter 2:

4  But God, Who is rich in mercy, because of His great Love with which He Loved us,

5 even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved),

6 and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the Heavenly places in Christ Jesus,

7 that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.

8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,

9 not of works, lest anyone should boast.

10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

You and I are meant to walk in “good works” and FATHER provided us the provision to empower us in all acts of righteousness.  By faith, we must appropriate HIS provision.  Our access is governed by our maturity which is infused by our purity.

The Beloved Disciple also wrote 1st John chapter 5:

18  We know that whoever is born of God does not sin; but he who has been born of God keeps himself, and the wicked one does not touch him.

19 We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one.

20 And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding, that we may know Him Who is True; and we are in Him Who is True, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the True God and Eternal Life.

21 Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.

It is critical to protect ourselves from the attempts of the world to move us away from The Word.  The path is narrow for us to enter through!  The wide path leads to destruction!

Jesus spoke in Luke chapter 13:

23  A bystander asked him, “Lord, will only a few have Eternal Life?” Jesus said to the crowd,

24 “There is a great cost for anyone to enter through the narrow doorway into God’s Kingdom. I tell you, many will want to enter but won’t be able to.

25 Once the Head of the House has shut and locked the door, it will be too late. Even if you stand outside knocking, begging to enter, and saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open the door for us,’ He will say to you, ‘I don’t know who you are. You are not a part of My family.’ TPT
