The preciseness of the 70th week and the legal requirements of two witnesses are fulfilled!
The Beloved Disciple recorded what he heard, saw, and experienced by The Holy Spirit in Revelation chapter 11:
1 Then I was given a reed like a measuring rod. And the angel stood, saying, “Rise and measure the temple of God, the altar, and those who worship there.
2 But leave out the court which is outside the temple, and do not measure it, for it has been given to the Gentiles. And they will tread the holy city underfoot for forty-two months.
3 And I will give power to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy one thousand two hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth.”
FATHER uses “half-week” designations through Scripture:
Half of the (70th) week of years is found in Daniel 9:27 and Revelation 12:14
1260 Days (1st half) is found here in verse 3 as well as chapter 12 verse 6.
42 months (2nd half) is found here in verse 2 as well as chapter 13 verse 5.
Time, times, the dividing of times (2nd half) is found in Daniel 7:25, 12:7, and Revelation 12:14. This use of times is our equivalent to both, or two. This phrase represents 3 ½.
This period of time known as the 70th week is the most documented period of time in the Bible which marks itself for a literal interpretation that limits the time of future judgment upon the earth, preceding the Millennium. With what is happening in the Middle East today, it speaks of the last days of the end times! It has been reported that four U.S. Carrier Groups have been deployed to the area. The U.S. has a total of eleven with three currently in drydock. This looks serious!
The literal fulfillment of the 69 weeks of Daniel 9:25 is a guarantee of the literal fulfillment of the 7-year duration of the 70th week.
The term “Temple of GOD” is used in Scripture as follows:
Tabernacle
Solomon’s Temple
Zerubbabel’s Temple
Herod’s Temple (aka 2nd Temple)
3rd Temple referred to here in the verse above
Millennial Temple
Heaven’s Temple
The Temple Institute is currently fabricating utensils to be used in the 3rd Temple.
For 3 ½ years, the two witnesses are given power to prophesy. Why two witnesses? This is the number of witnesses required by Law.
Moses recorded by THE SPIRIT in Deuteronomy chapter 17:
6 Whoever is deserving of death shall be put to death on the testimony of two or three witnesses; he shall not be put to death on the testimony of one witness.
And Jesus spoke in Matthew chapter 18:
16 But if he will not hear, take with you one or two more, that ‘by the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.’
FATHER gives a clear and final warning by HIS two witnesses of the impending final judgment. Even in judgment, we find a last attempt of mercy.
This “two witness” requirement even applied to the ongoing ministry of Our Lord Jesus Christ on earth:
At His transfiguration in Matthew chapter 17:
1 Now after six days Jesus took Peter, James, and John his brother, led them up on a high mountain by themselves;
2 and He was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light.
3 And behold, Moses and Elijah appeared to them, talking with Him.
At His resurrection in Luke chapter 24:
3 Then they went in and did not find the body of the Lord Jesus.
4 And it happened, as they were greatly perplexed about this, that behold, two men stood by them in shining garments.
5 Then, as they were afraid and bowed their faces to the earth, they said to them, “Why do you seek the living among the dead?
6 He is not here, but is risen! Remember how He spoke to you when He was still in Galilee,
7 saying, ‘The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.'”
And in Mark chapter 16:
12 After that, He (Jesus) appeared in another form to two of them as they walked and went into the country.
13 And they went and told it to the rest, but they did not believe them either.
At His ascension in Acts chapter 1:
9 Now when He had spoken these things, while they watched, He was taken up, and a cloud received Him out of their sight.
10 And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel,
FATHER takes HIS Word literally as well as seriously, and so should we.
