Paul wrote about this revealed mystery by The Holy Spirit in Ephesians chapter 3:
1 For this reason I, Paul, the prisoner of Christ Jesus for you Gentiles–
2 if indeed you have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which was given to me for you,
3 how that by revelation He made known to me the mystery (as I have briefly written already,
4 by which, when you read, you may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ),
5 which in other ages was not made known to the sons of men, as it has now been revealed by the Spirit to His holy apostles and prophets:
6 that the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, of the same body, and partakers of His promise in Christ through the Gospel,
7 of which I became a minister according to the gift of the grace of God given to me by the effective working of His power.
8 To me, who am less than the least of all the saints, this grace was given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ,
9 and to make all see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the ages has been hidden in God Who created all things through Jesus Christ;
10 to the intent that now the manifold Wisdom of God might be made known by the church to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places,
11 according to the Eternal purpose which He accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord,
The Divine Mystery was withheld until Jesus Christ began His earthly ministry. Once that happened, the true church was birthed, and the adversary and his minions became aware of their opposition. The god of this earth realized that his days are numbered yet he knows not the day or the hour of his demise.
In the above passage, Paul introduced the “body concept” of The Bride. Paul revealed that this mystery character is indwelling in every believer as he wrote by The Holy Spirit in Colossians chapter 1:
26 the mystery which has been hidden from ages and from generations, but now has been revealed to His saints.
27 To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
The Jews viewed their relationship with GOD as being external whereas we as the True Church have Christ in us. We don’t have to go to some external, physical location to glorify Jesus. We simply walk out our daily lives in righteousness and we will praise and worship Him by our words and actions. We are His Bride.
Paul further wrote about the Bride by The Holy Spirit in Ephesians chapter 5:
22 Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord.
23 For the husband is head of the wife, as also Christ is head of the church; and He is the Savior of the body.
24 Therefore, just as the church is subject to Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything.
Paul reveals the expectation of Jesus concerning you and me:
25 Husbands, Love your wives, just as Christ also Loved the church and gave Himself for her,
26 that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the Word,
27 that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be Holy and without blemish.
The end result of the true church becoming Holy and without blemish is the harpazo for the presentation in Heaven.
Paul sums it up in 1st Corinthians chapter 15:
51 Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed-
52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
54 So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory.”
We do not want to be on the wrong side of this event!
