Kingdom Economy: Part 6

Are you willing AND obedient to FATHER’s Commands in all areas?

Moses recorded by THE SPIRIT in Genesis chapter 14:

17   After Abram returned from defeating Kedorlaomer and the kings who were with him, the king of Sodom went out to meet Abram at the valley of the Shaveh (known as the King’s Valley).

18 And Melchizedek, who was both a priest of the Most High God and the king of Salem, brought out to Abram bread and wine.

19 He spoke over him a special blessing, saying, “Blessed is Abram by God Most High, Creator of Heaven and earth.

20 And blessed be God Most High, Whose power delivered your enemies into your hands!” Abram gave Melchizedek a tenth of all he possessed.

Abram took communion with the high priest of GOD in a Holy manner.  Then, Abram gave Him his tithe.

21 Then the king of Sodom said to Abram, “Just give me the people you rescued; keep all the spoils for yourself.”

22 But Abram said to the king of Sodom, “I raised my hand to Yahweh, God Most High, and I pledged a solemn oath to the Possessor of Heaven and earth

23 that I would keep nothing for myself that belongs to you, not even a thread of a garment or sandal strap. That way, you will never be able to say, ‘I was the one that made Abram rich.’

24 I will take nothing except what my young men have eaten, and the share of those who went with me—Aner, Eshcol, and Mamre. Let them take their share.”

After Abram gave the tithe, he was not tempted to take anything unholy which would have enslaved Abram to the world’s system.

The 10% tithe makes the 90% Holy!  This is why Abraham gave Melchizedek the tithe before the Law was established.  Abraham had the revelation of the tithe given to him by FATHER.  Melchizedek represented the Law and righteousness before Salem became Jerusalem.  As for my wife and me, we want to walk in total Holiness, not just selective obedience.

Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Hebrews chapter 7:

1  Melchizedek’s name means “king of righteousness.” He was the King of Peace, because the name of the city he ruled as king was Salem, which means “peace.” And he was also a priest of the Most High God. Now when Abraham was returning from defeating many kings in battle, Melchizedek went out to meet him and blessed him. Then Abraham took a tenth of everything he had won in battle and gave it to Melchizedek.

3 This Melchizedek has no father or mother, and no record of any of his ancestors. He was never born and he never died, but his life is like a picture of the Son of God, a King-Priest forever!

4 Now let me show you proof of how great this Melchizedek is: – Even though Abraham was the most honored and favored patriarch of all God’s chosen ones, he gave a tithe of the spoils of battle to Melchizedek.

5 It would be understandable if Melchizedek had been a Jewish priest, for later on God’s people were required by law to support their priests financially, because the priests were their relatives and Abraham’s descendants.

6 But Melchizedek was not Abraham’s Jewish relative, and yet Abraham still paid him a tithe. – Melchizedek imparted a blessing on mighty Abraham, who had received the promises of God.

7 And no one could deny the fact that the one who has the power to impart a blessing is superior to the one who receives it.

Melchizedek was not Jesus but was a being who had been placed on earth to be a picture LIKENED UNTO Christ but not Christ himself.  He established righteousness to differentiate himself from the lawlessness of those other kings who tempted Abraham.  Abraham would not sell his soul to the devil

We make an emphatic statement to the spiritual realm when we give a Holy tithe based on our communion with Jesus.  Only after taking communion in a worthy and proper fashion can we truly be cheerful givers.

It is written by THE SPIRIT in Malachi chapter 3:

10  Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, so that there may be food in My House, and put Me to the test now in this,” says the Lord of armies, “if I do not open for you the windows of Heaven and pour out for you a blessing until it overflows.

Where else does FATHER tell us to test HIM?
