FATHER’S Love is at the center of HIS Holiness.
FATHER revealed HIS Holiness before HE revealed HIS Love so if we want to come into full maturity, we must pursue Holiness as well. We cannot treat our relationship with Our Heavenly Father as common for it is sacred.
Moses recorded by The Holy Spirit in Leviticus chapter 10:
1 Then Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, each took his censer and put fire in it, put incense on it, and offered profane fire before the LORD, which He had not commanded them.
2 So fire went out from the LORD and devoured them, and they died before the LORD.
3 And Moses said to Aaron, “This is what the LORD spoke, saying: ‘By those who come near Me I must be regarded as Holy; And before all the people I must be Glorified.'” So Aaron held his peace.
Profane means “common”. Do you take your relationship with GOD for granted?
Paul wrote by The Holy Spirit in Hebrews chapter 12:
28 Therefore, since we are receiving a Kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and Godly fear. 29 For our God is a consuming fire.
Love without GODLY Fear will not allow you to become His intimate friend. Moses was His friend but the sons of Aaron weren’t.
T hose who watched the video on Azusa street may recall the Pillar of Fire above the building where a sample of GOD’S Presence came. Mighty signs and wonders brought people from all over the world. Healings and miracles were expected results when the Fire showed up. The same thing happened with the children of Israel when they fled Egypt.
What happened to the pillar of fire?
Moses recorded by The Holy Spirit in Exodus chapter 13:
21 And the LORD went before them by day in a pillar of cloud to lead the way, and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, so as to go by day and night.
22 He did not take away the pillar of cloud by day or the pillar of fire by night from before the people.
Moses also recorded by The Holy Spirit in Exodus chapter 14:
24 Now it came to pass, in the morning watch, that the LORD looked down upon the army of the Egyptians through the pillar of fire and cloud, and He troubled the army of the Egyptians.
25 And He took off their chariot wheels, so that they drove them with difficulty; and the Egyptians said, “Let us flee from the face of Israel, for the LORD fights for them against the Egyptians.”
Within the Holy Fire is the Presence of GOD Who delivers us from the lawlessness around us. We are to run to the Holiness of GOD rather than to be afraid of HIS Fire.
James wrote by The Holy Spirit in chapter 4 of his letter:
7 Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.
8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
9 Lament and mourn and weep! Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom.
10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.
Fearing GOD is the key to intimacy with FATHER. Moses’ encounter at the burning bush changed is life forever. He forsook all the wealth and benefits of Egypt as he became an intimate friend of GOD.
It is written by THE SPIRIT in Psalm chapter 103:
7 He made known His ways to Moses, His acts to the children of Israel.
You will share you ways with an intimate friend, not an acquaintance!
Moses also recorded by The Holy Spirit in Exodus chapter 20:
20 And Moses said to the people, “Do not fear; for God has come to test you, and that His fear may be before you, so that you may not sin.”
21 So the people stood afar off, but Moses drew near the thick darkness where God was.
When you see the Holy Fire, will you run to It or run away from It? Do not be afraid!
Jesus spoke in Luke chapter 12:
4 “Listen, my Beloved friends, don’t fear those who may want to take your life but nothing more. It’s true that they may kill your body, but they have no power over your soul.
5 The one you must fear is God, for He has both the power to take your life and the authority to cast your soul into hell. Yes, the only One you need to fear is God.
6-7 “What is the value of your soul to God? Could your worth be defined by an amount of money? God doesn’t abandon or forget even the small sparrow he has made. How then could he forget or abandon you? What about the seemingly minor issues of your life? Do they matter to God? Of course they do! So you never need to worry, for you are more valuable to God than anything else in this world.
It is written by THE SPIRIT Psalm chapter 89:
7 God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints, And to be held in reverence by all those around Him.
Put another way: You are a God Who is greatly to be feared as you preside over the council of Holy ones. You are surrounded by trembling ones who are overwhelmed with fear and dread, stunned as they stand in awe of You!
Don’t allow your relationship with FATHER to become common!
